Reality stars show their LOVE for Willen Hospice
The winners of ITV2’s Love Island have thrown their support behind Willen Hospice as the charity deals with the pressures of Covid-19.
Finn Tapp, originally from Milton Keynes, and his girlfriend Paige Turley have taken to Instagram to share their love for the Hospice, and encourage their followers to do the same.
The former MK Dons player said: “Willen Hospice is a charity close to my heart. The team there have looked after family members and loved ones in the past and the care they’ve provided has always been amazing. I wanted to raise awareness of the struggle they’re facing at the moment. In the current climate where all their usual summer fundraising has stopped, I wanted to do anything I could to help.”
Finn and Paige are urging fans to join them by texting LOVE to 70460. Texts cost £10 plus one standard rate message. Supporters can also make a donation here.
Peta Wilkinson, Willen Hospice CEO, said: “We are so grateful to Finn and Paige for their support. Covid-19 has affected all charities and we’re no different. We’re facing a huge shortfall in fundraising over the summer months, but we still need to maintain our vital care to local patients. Having the support of them both is incredible and I hope many of their fans will check us out and show their support too.”
Thank you for your support
