‘Pay Less to Give More’
What is Payroll Giving?
Payroll Giving, also known as ‘give as you earn’, is a simple, easy and tax free way to regularly give to Willen Hospice through your pay. This quick and easy process can provide Willen Hospice a regular income that will help us to plan ahead for the specialist end-of-life care we give to our patients, their families and carers.
Our services are free to those we care for but to continue to offer that care we need to raise around £3.6million every year – that works out to be £7 every minute.
By providing Willen Hospice with a regular donation through your pay process you are contributing towards:
And because your donation will be deducted before tax you pay less than the donated figure as the taxman gives us the tax on your donation at no extra cost.
How to get started
You can choose the amount you would like to give to Willen Hospice and once set up with your employer you can sit back and relax in comfort knowing that you are able to give more for less on a regular basis.
To set up your Payroll Giving with Willen Hospice, contact your employer and they will set up the amount you’d like to donate through your pay with you.
There are many advantages to offering your employees with the opportunity to donate part of their wages to charity and we can advise you on how to get in touch with the right people to set up Payroll Giving in your workplace.
