How we can help
If you are being cared for or have a loved one under our care, our Patient & Carers Support Service can offer you emotional support and information. We give you the opportunity to share experiences, find out about other help available in the communty or have the individual support of a trained volunteer.
Our volunteers, who are all DBS checked, are not trained counsellors but are highly trained in listening and support skills. All information given to them is subject to confidentiality guidelines. However, if they have any concerns about your vulnerability or safety, then they have a duty to pass these on to our Patient & Family Services Team or relevant team at Milton Keynes Council.
If you need to change an appointment, please ring the Hospice telephone number 01908 663636 and ask for a message to be passed to the volunteer who will then ring you to re arrange.
