Virtual Cooking Classes – 28 May

Become a Master Chef  in your own kitchen with our series of Virtual Cooking Classes

Learn new skills from top local chefs and bakers, and surprise your loved ones with culinary creations in your own home.

We’ve already cooked up a storm with our Valentine’s three-course meal, Mother’s Day cupcake sessions and Easter Sunday Lunch. Now it’s time for our final class…

28 May, 5-7pm –  Summer picnic special

Learn how to make your own sausage rolls, scotch eggs and other picnic classics, with Ashley from Hilltop Catering.

Cost

£12. The money raised will help support the patients we care for at Willen Hospice.

Here’s how it works…

  • Book the class you’d like to attend
  • A week before the class, we’ll send you a list of the ingredients you’ll need to buy, and the utensils you’ll be using
  • Before the class starts, set up a tablet, laptop or mobile phone somewhere in the kitchen where you can see and hear it easily
  • The classes will be maximum two hours, so if you’ll need a charger make sure you have one nearby
  • The classes will be hosted on Zoom, where your teacher, a local chef or baker, will give you a live cooking class, as you follow step by step instructions. The Zoom link will be sent to you prior to the event.

We need you more than ever

Willen Hospice needs to raise £4.7Million every year. COVID-19 has disrupted our fundraising activities and income we generate from our shops. By taking part in our virtual cooking classes, you’ll be helping us to continue supporting patients during one of the most challenging times we have ever faced. Thank you.

*The recordings will only be sent to those who participated in the class. You are welcome to turn your camera off if you do not want to be on the recording.
