Are you passionate about education and hold a professional qualification in health or social care? Willen Hospice is the leading provider of specialist palliative care within the area. In addition to our 15 bed In-Patient unit and Community Nursing provision, we have an expanding Therapeutic & Wellbeing service offering Psychological Wellbeing, Social Care, Physiotherapy, Complementary Therapy, Spiritual Care and a new Living Well Centre.
We are looking for a Registered professional to work as a Practice Development Facilitator and develop education delivery to link theory to practice. Working with the Practice Development team, you will support the development of clinical practice through education and work within a wider clinical environment to provide care and support.
This role is suited to a candidate looking to enhance their career in education, quality initiatives and clinical projects whilst maintaining their clinical skills. The successful candidate will be a qualified clinician with excellent organisational and communication skills and the ability to interact with individuals from a wide variety ofprofessional backgrounds.
You will be passionate about palliative/end of life care, audit and evidence based practice; have some knowledge of specialist palliative care practice and theory, and participate in the delivery of education and training activities to a wider audience.
