Apply for a charity place

A charity place is a guaranteed place in an organised event in return for a minimum fundraising ask. Every year we purchase charity places in some of the world’s most competitive running events, such as the London Marathon and the Berlin Marathon. This gives local people a chance to run in the most amazing events, while also racing funds for a charity in their community. If you’d like to apply for one our places, please fill out the application form below.

Berlin Marathon 2023

Minimum fundraising ask: £1,200

Royal Parks Half marathon

Bedford Running Festival, 2nd – 3rd September 2023

We have a few charity place remaining for the Bedford Running Festival. Their 20 mile route is popular for anyone training for a marathon. Email challenges@willen-hospice.org.uk if you’re interested.
