Gifts in Wills

Make a Difference That Lasts Longer Than a Lifetime

For over 40 years, Willen Hospice has been there to provide compassionate, specialist care to local people facing the toughest time of their lives. We only receive 15% of our funding from the NHS, making legacy gifts a critical part of the work we do. By leaving a gift in your Will, you are ensuring that we are here for future generations, so they can receive the comfort, care, and compassion that is at the heart of everything we do. It will be your lasting legacy of love.

For more information or guidance, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our Legacy Officer, Fiz Johnson at legacies@willen-hospice.org.uk or call 01908 303068 (Mon-Fri, 9am -5pm)

Please always seek legal advice.

The Impact of Legacies

Every legacy gift, no matter how big or small, significantly contributes to our work. They are a critical source of funding, securing our ability to commit to long-term projects vital to our purpose. A gift in your Will can transform lives, offering relief and dignity to those living with a life-limiting illness, and at the end of their lives. Every penny is invaluable to us, helping fund the support given to patients and their families – all completely free of charge.

Including Willen Hospice in Your Will

To guide you through this process, we have compiled a comprehensive ‘Gifts in Wills’ guide, which outlines how you can leave a legacy to Willen Hospice after you have taken care of your family and loved ones. Fill out the form below to request either a digital or physical copy in the post.

If you do decide to leave a gift in your Will to us, please include our name, address and registered charity number:

Willen Hospice, Milton Road, Willen, Milton Keynes, MK15 9AB.

Registered Charity no.: 270194

You can also download a codicil document and Deed of Variation form.

We work with a range of local solicitors who can offer you help and advice on writing or updating your Will, and in May and October, participating solicitors waive their fees for writing or updating a Will in lieu of a donation to Willen Hospice. Solicitors will advise on the amount, which is usually half the cost they would normally charge for their services. Find out more here
