Facilities Manager

35 hours per week
£39,000 – £45,000 per annum

Willen Hospice is the leading provider of specialist end of life care for adults in Milton Keynes and surrounding area. Our vision is to be the lasting and thriving provider of free care to all people affected by life limiting illness in our community, and keeping our premises in top condition plays a vital part in that.

Along with our two Hospice buildings set in beautiful gardens, we have 13 charity shops and a distribution centre.

Leading our dedicated Estates team, you will manage a responsive facilities service, developing estates operations in accordance with Willen Hospice strategy and delivering this on time, within budget and in accordance with all regulatory and quality standards.

Playing a central role in improvement and development, you will provide advice and support with plans for new facilities; as well as promoting a safe working culture, and managing the annual planned preventative maintenance for the Hospice property portfolio.

To be successful in this role you will be qualified in Occupational Health and Safety (minimum NBOSH level 4), and a qualified Electrical Engineer. You will have Estate management experience, and Health and Safety experience in relevant areas.

With well-developed interpersonal skills, you will be organised, proactive, and able to manage projects. A full driving licence is essential. A healthcare or hotel background would be an advantage.
