Gift Aid Your Donations

By declaring Gift Aid on any donations of goods and products I confirm I have read, understood and accept the Agency Agreement allowing Willen Hospice to act as a selling agent on my behalf.

Agency Agreement

I wish Willen Hospice to act as my agent in offering my goods for sale, at a charge of 5% commission plus VAT, which shall be deducted from the proceeds of sale on my behalf.

The goods that I am offering to Willen Hospice to sell on my behalf are my own and do not belong to another individual.

I am not acting as a business in bringing goods for sale into any Willen Hospice shop.

I confirm that I am at least 18 years old and understand that this agency agreement is a legally binding contract.

I authorise Willen Hospice to sell these goods in whatever manner it decides in order to maximise the value of the sale, and understand that if Willen Hospice are unable to sell any of the goods they have the right to dispose of the goods as they see fit. I agree that Willen Hospice will not be responsible for any loss or damage to any goods brought into the shops for sale.

As legal and beneficial owner of the goods until they are sold. I understand that I have the right to keep all of the net proceeds of the sale, but can choose to donate all or part of the proceeds, if I wish.

I understand that in the event of the customer returning the goods for a refund or exchange, Willen Hospice will act as the agent for me effecting that refund or exchange.

I agree that Willen Hospice will NOT write to me to confirm donations if the total value of the money raised, after the deduction of commission and VAT, (the net sales proceeds) from the sale of my goods in any tax year is equal to or less than £100, and the net sales proceeds will be treated as a donation to Willen Hospice. I understand that Willen Hospice WILL contact me if the net sales proceeds of my goods in any tax year is in excess of £100, detailing the net sales proceeds and the Gift Aid value to reclaim in that tax year. If Willen Hospice does not receive a response from me within 21 calendar days of the date of this notification, it will be assumed that I consent to donate the net sales proceeds to Willen Hospice, and Gift Aid will be claimed on this donation by Willen Hospice.

I understand that regardless of the amount raised from the sale of my goods, Willen Hospice will notify me at the end of the tax year of the total value of sales achieved in a tax year and request that I contact them if I have not paid sufficient tax or if my contact details have changed. This statement will provide information that I may find useful in settling my tax position. I understand that this statement will not allow me to request the net sales proceeds to be returned to me if these are under £100 in line with the above.

Either Willen Hospice or I may terminate this agency agreement at any time.

Willen Hospice may vary the terms of this agreement at any time by written notice to me.

If you pay Income Tax at the higher or additional rate and want to receive the additional tax relief due to you, you must include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self-Assessment tax return or ask HM Revenue and Customs to adjust your tax code.
