Volunteering for Willen Hospice during the Christmas period is a magical experience with so much festive fun taking place at the Hospice and in our community.
Christmas is also an extremely busy period for our small ( but mighty!) Community Fundraising and Events teams. Their passion to spread Christmas cheer in our community is matched only by our clinical teams who have the same aspirations for our patients and their families.
We’re looking for amazing people to become our Santa for school visits or an elf at our Grotto. Perhaps you could collect donations and walk alongside our Christmas Sleigh float in your part of the city. You might prefer to help run our refreshment and games stalls at a number of community events. We also need volunteers with vans to help with our Christmas Tree collections.
Looking out on the family Christmas events like Santa Dash or Christmas Grotto unfold in our gardens is a highlight for the patients and their families staying in our In-Patient Unit, but we need your help to make them happen.
