Local lady Jemma Malins is celebrating this week after completing her 100th 5k run in as many days. Jemma Malins, from Ashland, took on the challenge to support the Hospice after they cared for a close family friend, Sue Ballard.

Jemma has raised more than £1,200 during her challenge. She said: “I’m overwhelmed with the support I’ve had from everyone, and so proud of the amount I have managed to raise for the Hospice. I know it will go a long way to support more people to get the wonderful care Willen provide. The Hospice is so close to so many people’s hearts, especially in my family, as Sue was like a second mum to me. Thank you to everyone who has sponsored me and kept me going every single day.”
