Looking after you and your loved ones

An important part of our role in looking after you and your loved ones, is to offer emotional and psychological support.

Sometimes, talking to someone who is not a family member or friend, can be a great help.
Our specialist Psychology and Counselling team are here to help if you or a loved one are facing difficulties with coping or adjusting following a palliative diagnosis.

You will be able to talk to someone within the team who can explain how you can access tailored support which aims to alleviate some of your distress. Our aim is to either provide you with specialist support ourselves, or if more appropriate we can signpost you to an agency that can provide specialist support in helping you cope with your situation with a view to improving your psychological and emotional wellbeing.

We take time to assess everybody individually to ensure each person’s needs are met.

Please contact our Therapeutic and Wellbeing team on 01908 663636 or email us at PsychologicalWellbeing@willen-hospice.org.uk if you would like to find out about pre and post bereavement support for patients and families.
