Netwalking with Willen Hospice and Adventure Geek

Join us for our last Netwalk of 2021, at Willen Lake

Join Willen Hospice and The Adventure Geek on 10 November at the new, later time of 11.45am to 1pm for our last outdoor ‘netwalk’ for this year, and a chance to meet other local business people in an informal setting. We invite you to take a break from your desk or home office for a one-hour walk around Willen Lake (about 4.18 miles). We’ll meet, have a quick introduction and then set off.

Just £10 to take part, and your money will help us to continue providing free, compassionate care. Pay half price if you’re a Business Club member, by using code BUSCLUB2021 when you book.

Where to meet
We meet in the car park at our office at The Well, Newport Road, Willen Village, MK15 9AA at 10.30am and aim to finish by midday. As parking is very tight we would be grateful if you could park at the public car park near the T junction of Newport Road as you come into Willen Village. Turn left at the T-junction and then the car park is approx. 50 yards on your right, it’s then a short walk down to our offices the Well.

What to bring with you

Please bring your own drink and hand sanitiser.

What to wear
Come as you are! Just don’t forget to bring good trainers or walking shoes.

A few guidelines to keep us all safe

  • We will always walk with no more than 15 people per group.
  • At the beginning of the walk, we will ask everyone to use hand sanitiser as we may be touching stiles and gates during the walk.
  • Your walk leader will not be able to carry personal possessions for you. Please bring a bag to carry sanitiser, drinks, keys, hats or gloves
  • If you wish to bring PPE or masks, please do. All walk leaders will also carry sanitiser, protective gloves and a first aid kit.
  • If you are contacted through “Test and Trace” and have walked with an Adventure Geek group within the previous 48 hours, please notify us and we will pass it on to those who’ve walked.

Please contact challenges@willen-hospice.org.uk if you have any questions.
