If you’ve done our Sportive before, you’ll know that’s it’s a well-organised event that is always a lot of fun. If you haven’t done it before, then sign up! Choose a route that challenges you just enough, and gives you the motivation to get training and out on your bike over the summer whilst also raising vital funds for Willen Hospice.
There will be new routes* this year. Choose to cycle:
- 100 miles – 8am start time
- 65 miles – 9am start time
- 35 miles – 10am start time

What’s on offer:
- The opportunity to participate in our fundraising event where we ask riders to raise a minimum of £100 to support Willen Hospice and the care we provide.
- There will be feed and water stations on all three routes.
- Signposted routes and GPX files for bike computers.
- Medal for each participant at the finishing line.
- Friendly volunteers and marshals at pitstops along the routes.
- Mechanical support from Corley cycles at the start/finish line for all cyclists.
- First aiders and support vehicles to pick up participating cyclists who have any mechanical issues along the route.
- An event photographer. Please note that our photographers are volunteers and we cannot guarantee a photo of everyone.
Free indoor training sessions at The Good Gym MK every Wednesday, 8pm
Our friends and this year’s venue hosts, The Good Gym MK are kindly running FREE 45 minute training rides for everyone who has signed up for the Willen Hospice Cycle Sportive. These sessions will use the state of the art MyZone belt to ensure you get the maximum cardio vascular benefits from each ride- working to your own heart rate thresholds to compete in “the race”. If you’ve never used the MyZone belt system before then don’t worry, just arrive 15 minutes before the class starts and they’ll set you up and get you ready to go!

Prize for the top fundraiser
To say an extra big THANK YOU for fundraising, we’ll be giving away this ‘King/Queen of the Fundraising’ jersey to the top fundraiser, kindly provided by Incentive Smart. 
The jersey will be sent out after the event when the total fundraising amounts have been received (approx 3 – 4 weeks after the event).
We’ll send you the GPX files for all three routes, so you can cycle your chosen miles on the day, and save the other routes for another time. We will send you the links to the maps a week before the event.
