How we achieve excellence

We strive for excellence in all areas of our work

We’re proud that our our standards are high, whether we are delivering our specialist care or out taking part in fundraising activities, caring for patients in their homes or counselling bereaved children..

In addition to regular, statutory inspections carried out by the Care Quality Commission,*  Willen Hospice also undertakes additional inspection and scrutiny to maintain the highest levels of service.

*The Care Quality Commission is an independent regulator that ensures hospitals, care homes, dental and GP surgeries, and all other care services in England provide people with safe, effective, compassionate and high-quality care, and encourages them to make improvements.
