Willen Hospice have been inspired by Stony Stratford school girl, Eva Austin, 9, who has been using her creative skills to raise funds for the charity.

Eva makes loom band bracelets with charms, selling them to friends, family and the local community through Facebook, with all proceeds going to Willen Hospice.

Eva’s Mum, Sasha said, “Eva regularly visits the Willen Hospice Bookshop in Stony Stratford, and asked what the charity was. I explained, and she decided she wanted to raise money for them. Eva attends St Mary and St Giles Church of England School in Stony Stratford, and they place great importance on Values. This is very important to Eva: being kind and helping others.”

Bracelets are £1 with a plastic charm or £1.50 with a metal or jewel charm (plus postage and packaging if outside Stony Stratford). If you would like a bracelet, email marketing@willen-hospice.org.uk and our team will put you in touch with Eva and Sasha. All charms and colour choices are subject to availability.

Willen Hospice needs to raise £4.7 million every year, that’s £9 a minute. Thanks to local fundraising heroes like Eva, Willen Hospice can continue providing free, specialist care to those with life-limiting illnesses, or at the end of their lives.
