There’s  50% off everything in our closing down sale at our Grafton Gate Clearance store, as we prepare to relocate to The Point.  The sale will help us to reduce stock levels whilst staff, volunteers and the charity’s online eBay operation prepare to relocate to our new city centre location.

The sale is live now and we expect things to move very quickly so we encourage shoppers to visit the clearance outlet at 1 Grafton Gate East, Milton Keynes MK9 1AH soon to avoid disappointment.

Our lovely Leila (pictured) is a popular face at the store and you might remember her wing-walking adventures on our social media channels, where she raised funds for Willen in memory of her Dad.

Mark Rawlins, our Associate Director Commerce reflected fondly on our time at Grafton Gate: “I cannot thank the landlords of the Grafton Gate property enough for their generosity in making the site available on a temporary basis. We moved in during lockdown in November 2020 and anticipated a short-term tenure. We’re extremely grateful that this rolled into a two-year occupancy, giving us a vital and ongoing source of income for our Hospice. This meant so much, at a time when we were recovering from the devastating impact on our fundraising during the pandemic.”

In that two-year period, new jobs were created for local people, and countless volunteers have kindly provided their time to support the Hospice. Supporters too, have played an invaluable role by providing donations that the Hospice could resell, recycle or reuse to raise funds.

Our new clearance store is located downstairs at The Point in  offers items from as low as £1 per item. Donations are also welcome  there and proceeds will go towards supporting the specialist care that Willen Hospice delivers to end of life patients and their families.

We’ll miss Graton Gate, but we are very thankful to our community for continuing to shop with us as we embark on this exciting new chapter in the most iconic building in Milton Keynes!
