Safeguarding is our priority

Our commitment to Safeguarding

At Willen Hospice, we are committed to promoting the wellbeing and safety of all our patients and their family members, our customers, staff and volunteers.

Safeguarding is everybody’s business

Safeguarding means protecting a citizen’s health, well-being and human rights; enabling them to live free from harm, abuse and neglect.
It is an integral part of providing high-quality health care.  – NHS

In all walks of life, we encounter vulnerable people – children, the elderly, or those with additional care and support needs or disabilities – who might not be able to protect themselves.
We can all be part of making a difference by making sure they are not at risk.

Willen Hospice Safeguarding Strategy

Willen Hospice’s Safeguarding Strategy demonstrates an ongoing commitment for Safeguarding to be a priority in all we do.
