Celebrating our Volunteers

Volunteers are a fundamental part of our team

Back in 1981, Willen Hospice was founded by a small group of volunteers who were driven by a passion to ensure Milton Keynes had access to specialist palliative care.  43 years on and our volunteers still play a vital part throughout our charity through their governance as trustees, by delivering our events, fundraising, sorting donations and delivering the exceptional care we are known for.

We simply wouldn’t be here to care for you, your family and friends, your neighbours or colleagues without those that gift their time to Willen Hospice.

This Volunteers Week (3-9 June) we’re inviting you to join us in celebrating our volunteers, past and present, as we share their stories and recognise the incredible work they do for your local hospice.

Be Inspired

We are grateful for every minute of precious time gifted to us, from every volunteer, past and present. This week we celebrate the difference YOU make.
